Cool outfit for Fujiki Ryuusuke

sd13.jpg

Freddy has passed me a link to an advant garde Korean doll clothes maker Another Space. I found this irresistibly COOL pilot-inspired outfit set for Fujiki Ryuusuke (My FCS Sunlight F16 boy from Kyoto no Sato). Such eye candies!!! Now I am busy looking into my doll's closet for things to sell in the immediate future. Hopefully I can earn the means to pay for this outfit set which consist of a jacket, pilot hat & goggles. Dolls are so fortunate these days.

Photos of my first Enid Collins box bag

love1.jpg

Here's my first box bag!!! So happy to see the real thing it's such a timeless beauty. Can't believe it's already 40 years old. This bag is named "LOVE". I really love Enid Collin's whimsical and graphical arrangement of all her creations. Not forgetting the wonderful color combination.

Hope you like looking at them as much as I bidding them. Hee Hee...

An angel Kasumi

This Kasumi belongs to a member of Den of angels. I fell in love with her ever since, because she's so rare, the only possibility is getting her from Yahoo Auction Japan. Currently she's going at 850,000 yen - 110,000 yen excluding buying fees, shipping fees from shopping service in Japan. Too much trouble and too expensive.

She has these pair of magnetic wings which are detachable and are still attachable on top of the clothings. Isn't it amazing? I really am in awe with VOLKS creative ideas. Magnetic wings!!! They have other types of magnetic wings going on in Yahoo Auction. I saw pink ones too!!! So fascinating...

I've been resisting the temptation to buy Kasumi for the longest time. Been almost 3 months, I have been holding my peace and telling myself hundred and one reason why I wouldn't need a Kasumi. In recent months, the sales of my blythe dolls and some doll clothes has given me a handsome reserve in my paypal account. So when a member of DOA put her up for sale. I couldn't resist it any longer. So yes! I've surrender to Kasumi.

Here's the shipping details of her arrival. She is flying into Singapore from Switzerland. Hurray!!! : )

My first Enid Collin collector bags are here!

It's such a wonderful feeling, coming home to 2 parcels from the US : ) It's a little dark now, will post some nice pictures of my bags tomorrow when the sun is up. Do watch out for them. They are true beauties, at least 40 years of age and still so current and fascinating to look at. These are real craft work which can withstand the test of time.

I am lost in LOVE again!!!

So sad...I've lost my bid on this LOVE........LY bag again! The auction ended at US$275.50 won by aquamarine730. A little consolation for me : I've gotten an email confirmation from VPOST@USA and they've received my invoices from Amazon.com. So happy now. Sometimes I am quite amazed at the little things that could make me happy : )

My latest addiction...Enid Collins box bag from Texas USA

I was afflicted with a new virus. It's named "Enid Collins Virus". Take a look at this Enid Collin Pool and you will understand what I meant. I was blown over and now I am totally crazy about it. Have been looking up the internet to dish out more information about Enid Collins...not forgetting EVILBAY too.

Here's what I've found...history of Enid Collin and lost...a lovely "LOVE" bag by Enid Collins. The auction ended at US$117.22 won by windy-get626

Another absolutely must-have "Sophistikit". The auction ended at US$202.50 won by us-buyer.com. I've also lost this one by a mere US$2.50!!! I was sleeping when this US auction was still on and I didn't have the patience to stay up since I've a job to go to in the morning in "Singapore" time. I should have and I've regretted a thousand times over this. How I wish this owner belongs to the Enid Collin Pool group. At least I will be able to see this lovely bag again.

Finally I won something and it's on it's way to Singapore. I figure it will take a few weeks since it's shipped by US Airmail. While I painfully wait for my first Enid Collin box bag here's a picture of it for your viewing pleasure.

VPOST...a wonderful creation

After endless of hours fiddling on Amazon.com, I finally realised and admit the answer is "They do not ship internationally" since it's from the smaller bookstores through Amazon.com. I almost gave up hope until I found "VPOST@USA" a new service provided by Singapore postal office. I may have been the last to know this but I am glad I found it anyway especially NOW! So I've signed up like the speed of a lightning to placed an order for the 2 books which I most wanted. The amazing thing is it allows you to shop with merchants who doesn't deliver internationally from USA & JAPAN. I am still a newbie and learning about this service as I am writing it.

I am so excited about this new discovery. I just emailed them to check if they can do consolidated shipping for items won on Evilbay. If the answer is YES, boy I will be so delighted : )

So here's my 1st virgin order with VPOST@USA. Will add my verdict on this unique shopping experience.

Francie...World of MOD FASHION!!!

Yipee!!! This is getting better. I hope I can convinced Amazon to ship this precious book to me too. I really need it!!! Pretty please!

Vintage Skipper Encyclopedia

Today I was just spring cleaning & tidying up my doll stuff. Packing their clothes neatly into zip-lock bags. Sorting out which are for sale and which to keep. As I was packing, I realized I do have a number of vintage skipper outfits. And I think it's a good idea to start a photo-encyclopedia of my small but growing collection on this blog.

Tried doing some research on vintage skipper fashion via the internet but have not been fruitful. Instead I found a vintage skipper fashion bible on Amazon.com. The only problem?!?! I think it's a shipping problem since I am getting a used copy and it comes from a bookstore outside Amazon. I have sent Amazon an email hopeful it's just a technical error. I do hope the smaller bookstore will be willing to do International shipping. I really want that book!!!! Urgh!!! I wished I have a US address/US correspondent at this moment : (
